Leigh is an accredited mental health social worker who works with those over the age of 16. Through his career he has worked with a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, substance misuse, workplace stress/issues, grief, and trauma.

Leigh is trained in a variety of therapy models but tends to most often use principles and practices from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). He is also trained in EMDR. Underlying all of his practice though is a person-centred, strength-based approach, believing that each individual is the expert in their own life and therapy can be used for additional guidance and tools to empower people. Leigh also focuses heavily on building a good therapeutic relationship with his clients as he sees this as the foundation for all other therapeutic work.

Fees

• Individual $150.00 per 1 hour session
• Medicare Rebate Available with Mental Health Care Plan $87.25 (Out of pocket $62.75)
