Summit Health CONNECTcare is a not for profit allied health service, caring for individuals, couples, families and organisations across the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island.

CONNECTcare provides Psychology, Psychotherapy, Counselling and a range of Mental Health supports. CONNECTcare can assist you and your family to solve the complex personal and relational problems of contemporary life. Our clinicians help you to compassionately understand your dilemmas and to achieve your goals.

CONNECTcare provides these services to people who can afford to pay for their own services. For people on low incomes or those experiencing social disadvantages, our CONNECTcare Access program provides these services at no cost to the client.

Catastrophic Fire Danger Days

CONNECT care services delivered from the Summit Health Centre will continue on days when the Fire Danger Rating is catastrophic as the Centre is located in a Bushfire Safer Place and will remain open.

CONNECTcare services delivered from all other locations will be cancelled, with clients contacted and sessions rebooked as soon as possible.

COVID-19 Update

Due to the impact of COVID-related illness, some staff shortages are being experienced. 

We thank you for your ongoing patience during this time and ask that staff be treated respectfully as they work to provide quality care.

Please be advised of the following policy when booking an appointment at GPcare.

If you are experiencing respiratory symptoms:

All patients with respiratory symptoms (cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath, or a loss of sense of smell or taste), need to phone for an appointment (do not book online) and you will receive instructions for your appointment.

Telehealth in the first instance will be utilised and if you require a face to face review, you may be required to have a negative COVID-19 swab within 72 hours of your appointment; the GP will instruct this as required.

Telehealth –Fees may apply if patients are not eligible for telehealth under Medicare.

It is essential to continue to observe social distancing and we continue to limit numbers in our waiting room, we ask you not to remain in the waiting area unnecessarily and, where a carer is required to accompany an appointment, this is limited to one person.

To continue to deliver our high standards of care, the changes we make will be to ensure the safety of our patients, staff and doctors as the COVID-19 environment changes. We thank you for your respect and patience.
