A “Head to Health” Mental Health Care Centre has been promised by the Commonwealth Government to be located at Mount Barker and may be co-located with an Urgent Mental Health Centre.

Summit Health has provided Commonwealth Government funded mental health counselling in the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula, and Kangaroo Island for over 15 years, we support around 1800 people every year, providing over 6000 sessions. Summit Health would like to be the local provider of the ‘Mount Barker Head to Health Urgent Mental Health Care Centre’ and we need your support.

People with lived experience play a critical role in identifying the mental health needs of the community, and as part of our preparation for the tender application, we are seeking input from local people with lived experience of mental health issues.
