Liz Teesdale-Smith (Social Worker)
Liz is an accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Trauma therapist. She works with adults and young people who have experienced childhood or recent trauma. Liz is experience in working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship and domestic violence issues.
Liz has a special interest in the relationship between mind, emotion, and body using body centered approaches. Liz has studied Somatic body-based therapies and uses some Kinesiology, Mindfulness and Self-Compassion and tapping to achieve emotional regulation. Liz’s philosophy is that through safe therapeutic relationships which are respectful and collaborative, each individual will build on their own resilience and resources to live wholeheartedly with less distress.

Liz is available Saturday mornings only.
Fees
- Individual $170 per 1 hour session
- Medicare rebate with mental health care plan $85.20 (Out of pocket $84.80)
- EMDR first session $240 per 1.5 hours & subsequent sessions $210 per 1 hour session
