Service Overview
At the Summit Health Centre, the Legal Services lawyers provide advice and information about a range of everyday legal problems relating to civil, family law and criminal law matters such as:
- Wills, Advance Care Directives & Power of Attorney documents
- Traffic matters and motor vehicle accidents
- Neighbour disputes over trees and fences
- Employment problems
- Child protection matters
- Accommodation problems, including tenancy issues
- Family law disagreements regarding children or property
- Representation in Family Dispute Resolution and at courts dealing with family law matters
- Assistance for victims of elder abuse & domestic violence
- Centrelink problems
- Intervention Orders
- Consumer problems including contracts, scams & financial disputes
- Representation in criminal law matters.
The legal advice service is available to anyone; users are not required to be Summit Health Centre patients.
