Ovarian Cancer – Symptom Diary Mobile App
28 May 2013Ovarian Cancer Australia would like to inform all GPs of the development of an iPhone app called KISS & Make up, with funding from the Victorian Department of Health. The app informs women about the symptoms and risks of ovarian cancer and enables them to share this information with family and friends. The symptom diary allows users to easily track the type and severity of their symptoms each day for two to four weeks. This information can be converted into a report for women to present to their GP should they have any concerns.
To add a unique and fun element, the app includes beauty tips from Miranda Kerr’s Australian makeup artist Allison Boyle. Since the launch of the app on 14 February 2013, there has been more than 1000 downloads.
If you are interested in the app or would like more information about it, please don’t hesitate to contact Ovarian Cancer Australia on 1300 660 334. You can also download the app by searching for ‘KISS & Make up’ in the App Store (with an iphone).
