Special General Meeting

Members have been invited to a brief Special General Meeting on 3 May at 6:15pm in the Summit Health Centre. There is a Special Resolution being put to the Members for determination:  members will be asked to consider and if thought fit pass a special resolution that clause 4.1 of the new Summit Health Constitution be amended as follows:

Current:
4.1       The Association has, subject to the Act and other applicable laws:
4.1.1     The powers set out in Section 25 of the Associations Incorporation Act 1985 (SA); and
4.1.2     All the other legal capacities and powers of an individual and all the powers of a body corporate.

Proposed:
4.1       The Association has, subject to the Act and other applicable laws, the powers set out in Section 25 of the Associations Incorporation Act 1985 (SA).

The Board believes these changes have no impact on our role and/or your membership.  Amendment of the Constitution requires the approval of 75% of those present and any proxies submitted.
Members are invited to attend the meeting or alternatively nominate a proxy to vote for them.
