Is the Centre part of the Mount Barker Hospital?

No, the Centre is owned and operated by Summit Health. It is located next to—but physically separate from—the hospital. It houses a general practice and many other health services. See here for more details

GPcare is an extended-hours General Practice at the Centre that is open 6 days a week. See here for more details. 

Is there wheelchair access and a drop off area at the front for patients with limited mobility?

Yes.

What level of procedures are available at the Centre?

Minor surgical procedures are possible but there is no day theatre.

Is it a bulk-billing health facility?

No, each service provider at the Centre (there are over 20!) will have their own billing policy and information on this is available at the facility and on our website.
