David Cornish is an audiologist who has worked for Audika in the Adelaide Hills since 2015. David completed his postgraduate training at Flinders University.
In his previous career, David taught English as a second language and academic skills in East Asia and at Flinders University. David was inspired to study audiology after writing a magazine article on the impact of ear disease in young indigenous children. David is passionate about improving hearing because hearing plays an important role in self-identity and allows you to have the best life you can. He has three children and is currently coaching under 12 soccer for the mighty Sturt Lions.

Service Overview
David checks eardrums, middle ear pressure, degrees and types of hearing loss, and speech comprehension in quiet and noise. He does auditory rehabilitation such as fitting hearing aids and is experienced at counselling on tinnitus and cochlear implant options. David also removes earwax using a range of equipment including a micro-suction unit. David is familiar with hearing services available for pensioners and veterans and can assist with lodging Workcover and NDIS claims.
