Professional Profile

A/Prof Nick Brook is a public and private urologist and Director of Urological Cancer at the RAH. He has been a consultant urologist since 2009, and is Associate Professor at the University of Adelaide.

Nick completed surgical urology training in the UK, before undertaking a urological cancer fellowship at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane from 2008-2009, and was appointed as a consultant in Adelaide in 2009. He has extensive basic science training (Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees).

Trained in all aspects of adult urology, Nick has a special interest in urological cancers. He has wide experience in the management of prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancer, including minimally invasive robotic surgery for prostate and kidney cancer. Nick recently spent a six-month full-time fellowship in Europe in studying advanced robotic prostate and kidney surgery. Nick is also a high volume open cancer surgeon, as well as undertaking high and low dose rate brachytherapy for prostate cancer.

He is the lead urologist on a number of clinical trials based at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and the Director of Urological Cancer at the RAH Urology department.

Nick Brook, Urologist, provides a range of urology investigations and management, including kidney stones, prostate cancer, kidney and bladder cancer, prostate biopsy, incontinence and impotence treatment, laser surgery, vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, and BPH procedures including TURP, Urolift, and Rezum.

His Practice offers all patients a friendly service, with rapid access, using up-to-date, evidence based care tailored to individual needs.

Referral Process

Referrals can be made via fax for all urological problems, including:
