Dr Jessica Gehlert
Endocrinologist, Obstetric Physician and Clinical Pharmacologist
Professional Profile
Dr. Jessica Gehlert was born and raised in the Adelaide Hills. She graduated from Flinders University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Medical Science, and in 2011 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
She trained at Flinders Medical Centre and the Royal Adelaide Hospital, and undertook additional specialist advanced training in Darwin and Brisbane. Dr. Jessica Gehlert has a special interest in the management of women’s health during pregnancy and the impact of chronic disease and medications on the unborn child. This has led to Dr. Jessica Gehlert completing the three specialties of Obstetrics Medicine (2017), Endocrinology (2018) and Clinical Pharmacology (2019).
In addition to her clinical work, she is a Lecturer and Academic Coordinator in the School of Medicine, Flinders University.
