Joshua Stewart

Joshua is an experienced Adelaide trained physiotherapist who has spent a number of years working overseas in Britain and Germany and has recently returned to the Hills. Amongst other things he has worked extensively with the British Military rehabilitating injured personnel with access to the some of the latest rehabilitation equipment and techniques.

This also allowed him to work alongside sports physicians and orthopaedic surgeons and gain knowledge and skills from their expertise. Josh is an experienced manual therapist and combines this approach with biomechanical analysis and appropriate exercises to ensure optimum recovery and prevention of further injury.

He is a keen sportsman himself and is passionate about exercise, fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

 

Tim Bass

Professional Profile

Tim is the consultant physiotherapist to numerous local, state & national sporting teams.  He is also the head consultant physiotherapist for the South Australian Sports Institute (SASI).  He uses a multi-modal approach in the management of injuries, ensuring improved outcomes for patients.  His interests include sports injuries and multi-disciplinary chronic pain management for patients with complex issues.

 

Matthew Ash

Matthew attained a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Uni SA in 2003. Since then he has gained extensive experience working within rehabilitation in NSW, with particular interest in orthopaedics, spinal surgery and chronic pain management. He is a passionate therapist who combines a balance of manual therapy, education and individualised exercise prescription to empower his clients to achieve optimum recovery and long-term health outcomes.

 

Elisha Scriven

Elisha graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia. Since then Elisha has been working in private practice, as well as working with a variety of junior and senior sports teams.

Elisha has a special interest in Sports Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates especially equipment based. She is also interested in Women’s Health Physiotherapy and is planning on completing further study in both this field and Sports Physiotherapy in the future. Elisha is passionate about helping people understand their body and return them to their best possible function and wants to enable people to be able to manage their problems in the long term.

Outside of Physiotherapy Elisha enjoys running and playing netball, and she also enjoys travelling and exploring new places.

Lauren Mutton

B.Physiotherapy, Level 1 Continence and Women’s Health Certificate

Professional Profile

Lauren graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia. Lauren has a passion for musculoskeletal and sporting injuries and has experience in a variety of sporting teams including Fulham United Soccer’s Women’s premier league and Victorian U16’s boys Hockey state teams.

It is Lauren’s ambition to collaborate with patients to reach their goals and provide self-management strategies to empower patients with long-term solutions. In the future Lauren aspires to complete a Masters in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Polestar Certificate of Pilates.

Lauren has a keen interest in sports especially hockey and running.

Neal Fitton

B.Educ, BHM, M.Physiotherapy

Professional Profile

Neal completed his Master of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia, having previously completed a double degree in Education and Human Movement. He has experience working in Education as a specialist Physical Education and Science Teacher and has also worked in the disability sector where he supported people with a disability to be independent in their lives.

Having had a vast array of different experiences Neal enjoys working with people from all walks of life. Neal’s goal is to be able to work with people to assist them get back to the things they enjoy doing. He is passionate about working with people to create long term solutions using a combination of therapies including manual therapy and individualised rehabilitation exercises.

Neal is a keen sportsman, and has a particular interest in basketball and running. He has spent time playing in the Premier League basketball competition in SA for the South Adelaide Panthers.

Tracy Magor-Weyland

M.Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal), APA Member

Professional Profile

Tracy graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of South Australia in 1992. She then worked overseas in the United States for five years in various hospitals. After returning to Adelaide, Tracy completed her Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. During this time she worked casually at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. It was here that Tracy started to develop her interest in the Women’s Health area. Over the next decade Tracy worked in private practice, had her 3 children and continue to attend multiple courses to improve her Women’s Health Knowledge.

Currently Tracy also works in the public system at Mt. Barker Hospital (12 years) where she combines her musculoskeletal skills with her Women’s Health experience to care for pregnant/postnatal, continence and gynaecological patients.

Fees & Rebates

Physiotherapy referral is encouraged using an Enhanced Primary Care Plan from a GP .   Alternatively  private patients can claim using their private health insurance.
