Joshua Stewart

Joshua is an experienced Adelaide trained physiotherapist who has spent a number of years working overseas in Britain and Germany and has recently returned to the Hills. Amongst other things he has worked extensively with the British Military rehabilitating injured personnel with access to the some of the latest rehabilitation equipment and techniques.

This also allowed him to work alongside sports physicians and orthopaedic surgeons and gain knowledge and skills from their expertise. Josh is an experienced manual therapist and combines this approach with biomechanical analysis and appropriate exercises to ensure optimum recovery and prevention of further injury.

He is a keen sportsman himself and is passionate about exercise, fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

 

Liam Hehir

Bachelor or Health Science, Master of Physiotherapy

Professional Profile

Liam graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Physiotherapy. Liam’s extensive history in sports, in particular basketball, is the foundation for his interest in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He has worked with a number of local and national Australian Rules Football and basketball teams and currently gives assistance in the local Hills Football League competition.

Liam is passionate about providing treatment which seamlessly integrates into your current lifestyle, whether it be involvement in sport, employment, or general day to day tasks. He strongly believes in the use of Pilates to compliment manual and exercise therapy techniques. He wants you to be able to feel ‘at ease’ and to not only understand your injury, but also the prognosis and treatment options.

Liam is dedicated in continuing to provide the latest evidence-based treatment and plans to under his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy.

Tim Bass

B.Physiotherapy, M.Sports Physiotherapy, APAM

Professional Profile

Tim is the consultant physiotherapist to numerous local, state & national sporting teams.  He is also the head consultant physiotherapist for the South Australian Sports Institute (SASI).  He uses a multi-modal approach in the management of injuries, ensuring improved outcomes for patients.  His interests include sports injuries and multi-disciplinary chronic pain management for patients with complex issues.

 

Matthew Ash

Professional Profile

Matthew attained a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Uni SA in 2003. Since then he has gained extensive experience working within rehabilitation in NSW, with particular interest in orthopaedics, spinal surgery and chronic pain management. He is a passionate therapist who combines a balance of manual therapy, education and individualised exercise prescription to empower his clients to achieve optimum recovery and long-term health outcomes.

 

Lauren Hartley

Professional Profile

Lauren graduated from the University of South Australia in 2013 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She moved to Brisbane working within the public hospital sector where she began to develop a strong interest in women’s health.

Lauren has also worked in the United Kingdom within the NHS and private sectors for two years. She worked alongside highly respected orthopaedic, breast and gynaecological surgeons at The King Edward VII Hospital in London.

It’s Lauren’s focus to improve her clients function and self-management to help independence and to enhance their quality of life.

Lauren is also passionate about health, fitness and loves to get outdoors running, surfing and playing tennis.

 

 

Jacki Eads

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours)

Professional Profile

Jacki has a desire to help clients achieve their personal goals and will modify her approach to meet their individual needs. Her extensive background both as a dancer and dance educator has provided her with an excellent understanding of movement and led her to have a special interest in Pilates, dance and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Jacki graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and is a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine Science (IADMS) and an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD). Jacki is always looking to further her learning through professional development and is currently undertaking her Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology.

Fees & Rebates

Physiotherapy referral is encouraged using an Enhanced Primary Care Plan from a GP .   Alternatively  private patients can claim using their private health insurance.
