Joshua is an experienced Adelaide trained physiotherapist who has spent a number of years working overseas in Britain and Germany and has recently returned to the Hills. Amongst other things he has worked extensively with the British Military rehabilitating injured personnel with access to the some of the latest rehabilitation equipment and techniques.

This also allowed him to work alongside sports physicians and orthopaedic surgeons and gain knowledge and skills from their expertise. Josh is an experienced manual therapist and combines this approach with biomechanical analysis and appropriate exercises to ensure optimum recovery and prevention of further injury.

He is a keen sportsman himself and is passionate about exercise, fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

 

Tim Bass

Professional Profile

Tim is the consultant physiotherapist to numerous local, state & national sporting teams.  He is also the head consultant physiotherapist for the South Australian Sports Institute (SASI).  He uses a multi-modal approach in the management of injuries, ensuring improved outcomes for patients.  His interests include sports injuries and multi-disciplinary chronic pain management for patients with complex issues.

 

Matthew Ash

Matthew attained a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Uni SA in 2003. Since then he has gained extensive experience working within rehabilitation in NSW, with particular interest in orthopaedics, spinal surgery and chronic pain management. He is a passionate therapist who combines a balance of manual therapy, education and individualised exercise prescription to empower his clients to achieve optimum recovery and long-term health outcomes.

Professional Profile

Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from UniSA. Throughout his studies, he has gained additional experience working as a Pilates instructor teaching a variety of different clients.

Chris enjoys working closely with his patients to work out what is meaningful to them and helping them on their journey to achieve their movement/rehab goals. He believes movement is often the best medicine. Having previously played high-level basketball, Chris also enjoys working closely with athletes.

Outside of work, Chris likes staying active, spending time with friends and family, mountain bike riding and regular walks with his dog.

Emily Whittall

Professional Profile

Emily graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences, Masters of Physiotherapy. Throughout her studies, she gained extra experience in the field through volunteering as a sports trainer at her local football club and working part-time as a pilates instructor.

Emily is passionate about helping individuals move their bodies to achieve their goals and a big believer in a holistic approach to health. She believes exercise combined with hands-on treatment, education and advice is key to helping an individual achieve their goals!

Outside of the work you would find Emily walking to the local coffee shop with friends or family and of course her partner and their pup Percy.

Fees & Rebates

Physiotherapy referral is encouraged using an Enhanced Primary Care Plan from a GP .   Alternatively  private patients can claim using their private health insurance.
