Mental Health Clinician
Port Elliot, SA / Part-Time 0.6FTE
About the Role
Using your knowledge and therapeutic skills in evidence-based therapies including ACT, CBT, DBT, interpersonal and trauma-focused approaches, you’ll support clients referred to our free service, funded by Country Health SA PHN, providing high-quality, person-centred care that helps clients build the skills and resilience they need to manage their wellbeing.
This role is being offered fixed term until 30 June 2027 on a 0.6FTE basis at our Port Elliot office.

About You
We’re looking for a passionate, motivated and organised clinician who loves making a difference in the lives of clients and thrives on seeing people achieve their goals.
You’ll be confident working autonomously, while also enjoying the connection, collaboration and support that comes from being part of a great team. You’ll bring a genuine passion for working alongside clients to build skills, confidence and resilience, helping them take positive steps towards better wellbeing.
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Relevant professional registration as a Mental Health Social Worker, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse or Psychologist.
- Experience in a similar role, with a strong ability to build meaningful therapeutic relationships and engage clients in their goals.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently, compassionately and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organisational and digital skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management software.
- A current full driver’s licence, Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or the ability to obtain these).
