ABOUT THE ROLES
Peer Workers are at the heart of what we do, making up 50% of our multidisciplinary team. Bringing the power of lived experience in distress, crisis and recovery, you’ll create a welcoming, safe space for visitors while providing meaningful 1:1 peer support.
You’ll empower people with clear information about their rights and options, advocate for their needs, and help them reconnect with their strengths, hope, and community. Working within strong professional boundaries, you’ll model recovery-oriented, trauma-informed practice every day.
Senior Peer Workers bring lived experience leadership to the forefront, playing a key role in shaping safe, supportive and recovery-focused care. Beyond direct support, you’ll mentor and guide the peer workforce through training, debriefing and reflective practice, strengthening capability across the team.
This role is fixed term until 30 June 2027 with an opportunity to extend subject to funding.
