Adelaide Vintage Health (AVH) is a service of GPcare General Practice who are committed to revolutionising aged care in the Adelaide Hills and Eastern suburbs. We’re pioneering a return to comprehensive primary care in residential aged care facilities, delivering General Practice and allied health services that truly make a difference to some of our community’s most vulnerable members.

The Opportunity

As our Business Manager, you’ll lead the strategic direction and operational excellence of our residential aged care General Practice and allied health services. This is more than a management role – it’s an opportunity to shape the future of primary care delivery in residential aged care facilities in South Australia.

You’ll provide end-to-end oversight of AVH operations across multiple Residential Aged Care Homes (RACHs), ensuring we deliver high-quality, sustainable, and responsive services that set new standards in the sector.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational management across all AVH service delivery points
  • Drive financial performance and business sustainability while maintaining service excellence
  • Develop and nurture relationships with aged care providers, stakeholders, and funding bodies
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities for service expansion
  • Lead workforce planning, capability development, and team performance
  • Ensure compliance with all organisational, contractual, and regulatory requirements
  • Champion quality improvement initiatives and innovation in service delivery
  • Oversee resource allocation and operational efficiency across multiple sites

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in senior management within healthcare, aged care, or community services
  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated budget management and business planning skills
  • Track record of successful stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Knowledge of aged care sector regulations, standards, and compliance requirements
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on operational capability
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills
